the age of three and sick

My daughter is sick today, she is being extra needy. She coughs and looks at me with glazed over eyes and it makes me feel sick. I hate when she feels like this and all I can do is hold her. She is just getting to an age where she understands things that I tell her, just not about being sick, or the scratch on her arm that is healing, although still has a bandage because tinkerbell is on it. She just thinks it is cool that it is there and if I take it off she screams. Like today when we tried to go to dinner and I took tinkerbell off to bath her. She cried the whole time till an hour later when we were at the restaurant and food caught her attention. Why are they so smart, yet reason is not in their vocabulary yet. Figure that out and you be a savior to all mothers. ;)

  1. When I was 16 or so, I babysat for my sister so she could attend the school we all know and love. Her children were too young to talk, but yet they found a way to colaberate a wiffle ball bat attack. Little children are very smart, and after the time-outs they received, I guess your right. No reasoning.
