Health care.....
I would really like to have the nation mail the facts about what this health care bill is really about. I am so confused about it that I want to cry. Why is it that they are deciding our future with healthcare and not really letting anyone know the exact details in what we will actually get out of it. I have read a lttle about what other countries go through with universal healthcare and it scares me a bit. They say that the waiting time on average is out of control and that just makes me not want to go to the doctors at all. I know they are already crazy just from experience already. I don't want to think of what it will be like when we have the universal health care. I just really wish since it is our healths future on the line, they should involve us a bit more. At least inform us better. What are your thoughts?

I totally agree. I have no clue other than what I've heard about it increasing costs for the elderly and allowing children with pre existing illness to be covered. They should as you state, send everyone a very detailed packet informing us of everything this bill being passed is going to change, or do for everyone.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and sister in law live in the Netherlands and they hate the national healthcare system they have.My sister in law has been in agony for over a year and they are on a waiting list for a specialist. I like the fact here that if I am not happy wiht one doctor I can go to another, no waiting. I was shocked to read Obama's comments about the challenging the republicans on way laying the bill. Inseat of fueling the fire he should be bipartisan and help calm the fears of the public. He is pitting one side against the other and that is not good. How can wwe support a President if he does not have our interests at heart!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way, I think if we have to live with this healthcare, so should all the ones that pass the damn thing.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with the health care bill is it is forcing you to buy health insurance or get fined for not having it. Which is taking your right to decide if you think you need it or not.
